  • 🌟 Rain Can't Dampen the Spirit: CPA Sports Carnival 2024 concludes triumphantly!   📅 Held on 4 May at the Hammer Hill Road Sports Ground in Diamond Hill and co-organized by HKICPA and SCAA, the remarkable event brought together over 1,000 sports enthusiasts from the accounting profession, representing more than 40 accounting organizations, along with their friends and family. This year's theme, "Vibrant Hong Kong, Energetic CPA" (勝會香港 • 活力 CPA), created a platform for accounting professionals to temporarily set aside their work and engage in physical activities, rejuvenating both their bodies and minds. 💪⚡   We were honoured to have esteemed guests at the event, including Secretary for Financial Services and the Treasury Christopher Hui, Secretary-General of the Central Government's Liaison Office in HKSAR Wang Song-miao, Director of Audit Prof. Nelson Lam, Legislative Council member (Accountancy) the Hon. Edmund Wong, Accounting and Financial Reporting Council Chairman Dr. Kelvin Wong, and District Officer (Wong Tai Sin) Thomas Wu. Their presence and support were a true inspiration to the athletes competing in the various competitions. 🎖️👏   Despite certain scheduled items being cut short by the ensuing rain, many attendees expressed their gratitude for the event, highlighting its importance as a gathering that allows accounting professionals to relax, enjoy sports, and strengthen connections within the industry.    Learn about the wide range of sports and recreation activities organized by the Institute at https://lnkd.in/grrkTTWw 📸   #CPASportsCarnival2024 #HKICPA #SCAA #AccountingProfession #Sport
