A 4-session astrophotography programme will be held in June and July for members who are interested in taking astrophotography using digital camera. Members are welcome to join the four individual sessions listed below:

1. Tutorial session
2. Field trip A
3. Field trip B
4. Photo processing session

Remarks:

• Mr. Patrick Yuen, PoIG Organizing Committee member, is the programme leader.
• No photography equipment is necessary for the tutorial session while a notebook computer with "Photoshop" and “Star Trails software” installed is required for the photo processing session.
• For Field Trip A, participants should bring their own (1) digital single lens reflect camera (DSLR) or mirrorless camera, (2) wide or ultra-wide lens and (3) tripod.
• For Field Trip B, the programme leader will provide all equipment required, except SD cards. Participants are encouraged to bring their own point-and-shot digital camera and SD card to save pictures taken.
• Cantonese is the medium of the activity. - Transportation and meals are not included. Participants should bring their own refreshment as needed.
• For easy communication and logistical arrangements, the programme leader will invite you to join a WhatsApp group upon successful enrolment in the programme.
• All field trips are subject to reschedule should the weather condition be not suitable for shooting.
